Master of Education / M.Ed is popularly known as one of the most popular courses for Teacher Education among students in India and over all Indian states, there is no exception. If you wish to become a Teacher in Senior secondary Schools, high schools/secondary schools or middle schools, Even Primary schools also. A M.Ed degree is a must for Eligibility to apply in a private reputed schools or government schools on permanent or temporary basis. If you have not a M.ed Degree then you are not eligible for apply as a teacher in any school of any where in india. So if you want to become a PGT that is Post Graduate Teacher then you must earn a M.ED Degree.

• The M.Ed. programme is a regular course of one-year duration.
• 1 unit of 35 students approved by NCTE.

• Candidates who have obtained at least 45% Marks in the B.Ed. degree are eligible for admission.
• The reservation for SC/ST/OBC and other categories shall be as per the rules of the Central Government / State Government, whichever is applicable. There shall be relaxation of five percent marks in favour of SC/ST/OBC and other categories of candidates.
